On Nov. 11, Founder of MyCOS with 16 years experience in employment research in the United States, Professor at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), Dr. Wang Boqing was invited to give a report to decode The Report on Evaluation of 2009 Employment and Capability of IVT delivered by MyCOS. President Shan Qiang, Vice President Lin Ningping and the management from all departments gave audience to this report.

The report was obtained through 532 valid questionnaires from IVT 2008 graduates. MyCOS invited 1357 graduates to answer the questionnaire, but 689 graduates gave feedbacks which of them 532 were valid. The report covers 22 majors which makes it a right examination report. Dr. Wang decoded the report in five aspects: employment rate, income, employment districts, working capability and degree of satisfaction of our 2008 graduates to help us find out problems, which lights our new ideas in fostering pattern, teaching reform and improving employment. He stressed that vocational colleges should strengthen professional ethics education and ethical education, facing the reality of employment, strengthen workplace culture, give prominence to the abilities of understanding and communicating, scientific thinking, managing, applied analysis and strong hands-on skills. Try to cultivate professional technicians with high quality who are good at innovation and resisting difficulties and risks.

Mr. Wang’s humorous speech and rich cases particularized both inside and outside make the audience involved in the lecture from the beginning to the end. The lecture lasted two and a half hours. After the lecture, Mr. Wang answered the questions from the teachers.

Mr. Shan emphasized two things in his sum-up speech: the first was each student is an individual. We must teach students according to their aptitude; the second was we must better each service for our students to make them more satisfied with it.

At last, all audience gave Mr. Wang a big hand to appreciate his wonderful speech.
