From Oct. 31 to Nov. 4, Finland vocational education delegation headed by National Education Committee, being affiliated to Finland Education Ministry visited Jiangsu. The 12-member delegation visited IVT on Nov. 1 and President San Qiang of IVT welcomed them warmly. The delegation consist of the counselor of education of Finland National Education Committee, Ms. Mari R?kk?l?inen, and the division head of Vocational Education Division and some presidents of colleges. The delegation visited our new campus, then the host and the guests recalled the cooperation between them and discussed the issue of the China-Finland first high vocational college professional skill contest, which will be held in April, 2011. The president assistant, Mr. Wang Yinghai, and other staff related attended the reception.

      The expert from Finland, Mr. Hannu Immonen introduced their experience in participating in the international vocational skill competitions. Two parts also discussed the organization, arrangement, participating mechanism of the competition and reached a schedule. According to the preliminary plan, the contest will be undertaken by IVT. Two parts hope take examples from WorldSkills International Competition, improve students' study via the competition and cultivate students' innovation ability and practice ability.
